Canna - Flower Reed
Canna is a genus of monocot plants. They are tropical and subtropical plants with large, broad leaves and yellow, orange or red flowers (or variants thereof).
These summer flowering plants reach a height of 1-2 m and have an extensive rhizome system.
Perennial species can be planted in Belgium and the Netherlands, provided with the necessary precautions. Since the plants do not survive our winter, the rhizomes (rhizomes) should be removed from the ground in autumn.
